Ingredients
- 3 cupswater
- 10large eggs
- 0.75 cupHEYDOH Classic Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoonssugar
- 3large cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
- 2scallions, trimmed and tied into a knot

Fill a small pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. Gently add in the eggs and cook for 9 minutes. Remove from heat. Rinse the eggs under running water and peel them. Set aside

In a small pot, combine the soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, garlic, and scallions and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Stir the liquid with a spoon until the sugar completely melts.

Remove the pot from the heat and add the peeled eggs. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then transfer both the eggs and liquid to a container. Refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, take the eggs out and cut them in half or into quarters.
