Ingredients

  • 1 cupPlain Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cupParmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoonMediterranean Oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoonFine Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoonground Black Peppercorn
  • 8 pcsBeef Cube Steaks (4 ounces each)
  • 1 pcsEggs, Beaten
  • 2 tbspWater
  • 3 tbspOlive Oil

    Heat oven to warm setting. In a plate, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Prepare 2 steaks at a time. Dip steaks in egg mixture, then coat with crumbs. Cook 3 minutes per side until golden brown and coating is crisp. Transfer to oven to keep warm while cooking remaining steaks. This recipe yields 4 servings.
