Ingredients

  • 2 poundsskin-off pork belly, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1.25 cupswater
  • 2 tablespoonsHEYDOH Silky Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoonswhite sugar
  • 3garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 0.5 cupfried shallots
  • 0.5 cupHEYDOH Classic Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoonsTaiwanese or Shaoxing rice wine
  • cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

    In a medium pot or Dutch oven, combine the pork belly, water, shallots, Classic Soy Sauce, Silky Soy Sauce, sugar, rice wine, and garlic. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer on low heat until the pork is tender and glistening, about 2 hours.
