Ingredients
- 1 tbspVegetable Oil
- 1 lbground turkey ((I like the flavor of 93/7))
- 0.5 largeYellow Onion, minced
- ⅓ largeGreen Bell Peppers, minced
- 0.5 tspChili Powder
- 0.5 tspGarlic Powder
- 0.5 tspKosher Salt
- 0.25 tspGround Black Pepper
- 1 tbspspicy brown mustard ((regular mustard can be substituted))
- ⅓ cupBarbecue Sauce
- 3 tbspTomato Paste
- 1 tbspApple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tspWorcestershire Sauce
- 5fresh cherry tomatoes
- 0.5 tbspBrown Sugar

Heat pan on stove, add onion.

Add chili powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup, barbecue sauce, tomato paste, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and red peppers, cherry tomatoes and stir well to combine.

Reduce heat to MED/MED LOW and cook for 10-15 minutes, until mixture has thickened to your liking, stirring often. Remove from heat and serve over toasted buns.

Heat a large skillet over MED HIGH/HIGH heat. Add a drizzle of vegetable oil, and once hot, add buns, cut side down. Cook for 30 seconds to a minute (this time will vary), or until golden brown on the bottoms.
