
Tahini Sauce
This tahini sauce is simple and comes together in just a few minutes. Lemon and garlic are the main flavors but you can add things like parsley or chili powder
Ingredients
- 1 cuphulled white sesame seeds
- 2 tbspneutral oil such as grapeseed or canola
- 0.5 cupTahini
- 2Garlic
- 1 tbspExtra Virgin Olive Oil
- 0.25 cupLemon Juice
- 0.5 tspSalt

Toast sesame seeds in a large skillet over medium heat, shaking often, until fragrant and slightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.

Transfer sesame seeds to the bowl of a food processor. Process until the seeds form a paste, 2 to 3 minutes. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of neutral oil, depending on how thin you like your tahini.

Process until the tahini is smooth and pourable. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

In a medium bowl, whisk together tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and salt along with ¼ cup of water. For a thinner sauce add more water 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach desired consistency.
