Spicy Korean cucumber salad

This is my take on Maangchi’s spicy cucumber salad. I love how easy and delicious this is. We can put this together last minute and have on the table in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pcsEnglish Cucumber
  • 0.25 cupYellow Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 pcsScallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 clovesMinced Garlic
  • 2 tbspHEYDOH Classic Soy Sauce
  • 3 tspKorean Chili Pepper Flakes (Gochugaru)
  • 2 tsptoasted sesame oil
  • 2 tspToasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 teaspoongranulated sugar

Instructions

    Cut the cucumber lengthwise in half and cut diagonally into thin slices. slice cucumbers

    Put the cucumber into a large bowl. Add the onion, green onion, garlic, soy sauce, hot pepper flakes, toasted sesame oil, sesame seeds, and sugar.Spicy Korean cucumber salad (oimuchim: 오이무침)

    Mix it well with a spoon until the sugar is well dissolved.

    Serve as a side dish for rice, noodles, or BBQ.
