Ingredients

  • 4 pcsboneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tspHeray saffron threads
  • 0.25 cupwarm water
  • 2 tbspvegetable oil
  • 1 pcsonion, chopped
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1 tbspgrated ginger
  • 1 cupchicken broth
  • 0.25 cupplain yogurt
  • 2 tbspchopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

    Soak saffron threads in 1/4 cup of warm water for 10 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; set aside.

    Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.

    In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and ginger for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.

    Add chicken broth, saffron water, and yogurt, bringing the mixture to a simmer.

    Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.

    Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked.
