  • 1 poundgreen beans
  • 5 clovesgarlic, sliced
  • 2 tablespoonstoasted sesame oil
  • 0.5 cupmushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoonsalt

    Wash and trim the beans. Quickly blanch the beans for about 2 minutes and set to dry.

    Heat a pan in medium heat until hot. Pour in the sesame oil. When it is hot, add the sliced mushrooms and them sit untouched so they char up nicely, about 2 minutes per side.

    Add the beans and spread evenly in the pan. Let the beans sit untouched for 2 minutes so they char up nicely as well. Salt generously.
