Ingredients

  • 2 largeapples, cored and chopped
  • 2dates, pitted
  • 1 cupalmond milk
  • 0.5 cupplain yoghurt of your choice
  • 0.5 cupoats
  • 2 tbspchia seeds
  • 0.5 tspcinnamon
  • 0.5 tspcardamon
  • Optional, a little crushed ice
  • 1.75 ozvegan butter
  • 0.25 cupmaple syrup
  • 3 tbspnatural peanut or almond butter
  • pinchsalt

Instructions

    Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and mix until smooth and creamy. If desired add a little crushed ice at the end of blending for a really cold smoothie.

    Vegan Caramel Sauce Add the maple syrup and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on full effect in the microwave for 1 ½-2 minutes. Then stir in the peanut butter and pinch of salt. Drizzle a little of the caramel sauce on the inside of 2 serving glasses. Pour the smootie and serve with thick straws and a spoon to scrape the last of the caramel sauce.
