
Crispy Baked Parmesan Garlic Butter Chicken Breasts

- 0.5 cupParmesan Cheese, freshly grated
- 4 tbspUnsalted Butter, melted
- 4 cloveGarlic, finely minced
- 2 tbspmayonnaise or Dijon mustard
- 1 tspGarlic Powder
- 1 tspSmoked Paprika
- 1 tspItalian Seasoning

- 0.25 tspGround Black Pepper
- 2 tbspfresh parsley, chopped for finishing

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet and lightly grease the rack.

Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of parchment and pound them to an even thickness of about 3/4 inch. Pat completely dry with paper towels.

Stir the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and smoked paprika together in a shallow dish.

In another shallow dish, combine the panko, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Brush each breast with a thin layer of mayonnaise. Dip it into the garlic butter, then press it firmly into the crumb mixture on both sides.

Set the chicken on the wire rack and drizzle any leftover garlic butter over the tops. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the crust is deep golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
