Creamy Cherry Pie Smoothie (no banana!)

Oh so refreshing and creamy Cherry Smoothie made in the blender with frozen sweet cherries, oats, almond butter, and a kiss of almond extract. This quick recipe is satisfying when you want something different for breakfast! I like to top with granola for extra cherry pie vibes.

Ingredients

  • 1heaping cup frozen cherries
  • 1 largesoft pitted Medjool date
  • 1 tbspalmond butter
  • 2 tbspold fashioned oats
  • 0.5 tspvanilla extract
  • 0.25 tspalmond extract
  • 0.75 cupmilk of choice (I used unsweetened vanilla almond)
  • 2ice cubes (optional for thickness)

Instructions

    Place all ingredients in a blender (I had best results with my Nutribullet) and blend until smooth. You can add in a handful of spinach or protein powder if desired.

    Pour into a glass. Top with granola for crunch and serve!
